The kindergarden is for children who are from 0 to 3 years old. This school is owned by the Foundation of Mare de Déu del Claustre. This school is the first stage of education and it isn’t obligatory, but it is beneficial for the child.
The children have a diary which is used to be informed about the activities they do. They have breakfast at school (milk, cookies...) and they also eat fruit there in the afternoon.
Some of the school rules are:
- - They can’t bring sweets to school.
- -They must be dressed in comfortable clothes.
- - Clothes that are left in the school must be marked with the name.
- - If children are sick, they can’t attend school.

What actvities do we do?
PSYCHOMOTOR ACTIVITY:
We give great importance to PSYCHOMOTOR ACTIVITY because we consider that in the early childhood there is a close link between the motor and the psyche.
The children show their psychic life, their relationship with others and their needs, through movement. Through this, the children discover themselves, others and the world. Later, the movement is based on mental representations. At school we help children to acquire the maturation experimenting with the necessary material to achieve overall development.
MUSIC:
Music is important since birth because the sound is present since then. One of the first impressions you get is a source of energy and emotion. Music stimulates the ability to think and develop attention. It encourages memory, the sense of group discipline, accountability and awakens the critical and aesthetic taste. On the other hand, contributes to the growth of the child.
EXPERIMENTATION:
The experimentation is an activity in which children explore from handling materials. Children organize their mind with the information received from experimentation. To carry out the activity children explore and manipulate the material. Children can experience and observe the relationships with various objects.
The treasure basket (GAME)
The treasure basket is a set of exploration and manipulation objects with the aim of offering a variety of experiences for the senses of the child. Furthermore, it helps to develop the concentration and hand-eye-mouth coordination.
AMPA:
What is AMPA?
AMPA is an organization of the parents of the school.
What does the AMPA do?
Its purpose is assisting parents in all matters related to the education of their children, with a double objective:
- Promoting their participation in school life and decision making.
- Acting to ensure that students have the best possible education in the best possible way.
