I think that Bilbo was better dressed than Kili to go to the city, but to go walking in the mountains or have an adventure, Kili was better dressed.

KILI:

Kili dresses a black shirt, a scruffy grey raincoat without hood, a pair of black trousers, a pair of brown gloves and black leather shoes.

BILBO:

Bilbo is wearing a white chuff shirt, a green vest, a red suit, a brown belt, and finally he wears a green and orange bag .
