Slamball

SlamBall is a kind of basketball played with four trampolines in front of each net.

It was founded in 2001

RULES AND REGULATIONS

Scoring is achieved by passing a ball trough the net of the opponent, the objective is finishing the match having scored more points than the other team. The matchs are played in 4 min. and 5 parts.

POSITIONS

In the team there are 4 players and 3 positions:

HANDLER, who is the best of the team and shortest, he organises the team.

GUNNER, who is the main scorer on the team, his job is making the team win.

STOPPER: This person does the defensive work.

EQUIPMENT

The equipment is similar to American football or hockey, because they jump and it can be dangerous.

ATHLETES AND TRAINING

The athletes train hard because the sport is dangerouse and they can get hurt. The training is very important.
