The film was released in 2012, the name of the director is Gary Ross, the genre of the film is action, adventure, sci-Fi, drama and thriller, the author of the book is Suzanne Collins. The principal actors are: 
Jennifer Lawrence, who is Katniss Everdeen.
Josh Hutcherson, who is Peeta Mellark.
Liam Hemsworth, who is Gale Hawthorne.
Elizabeth Banks, who is Effie.
Trinket, who is Willow Shields.

Plot: Katniss and Peeta are selected to play the hunger games, every year two people are selected to play the hunger games. Katniss and Peeta are sad, because they don't want to play the hunger games. When they first arrive at the place, they train hard and after they are prepared to play the hunger games. When they are in the arena, the players are very nervous. A bell sounds, the players run to the objects that can help them and runs to the forest to hide. Twenty-two people die and the winners are Katniss and Peeta, their families are very happy and, when Katniss and Peeta arrive at home by train, people celebrate it.

Opinion: I think that the film is fabulous, because there are different scenes of different genres (adventure, drama, action…), for me the best scene is when the ring sounds and the players run to the objects that can help them. I recommend this film to the people who like adventures and action.
I think children younger than twelve years old shouldn’t watch this film.
